On A Lighter Note

Things are looking better today thanks to a few good friends.

Started packing again for the move. Tonight it was party supplies and craft items. Found two foam balls and couldn't resist the urge to stuff them in our shirts. Come on....you have to do the Dolly thing.

While lying on the couch with Blondie, she told me these knee-slappers.

Because it was being chased by wax.

Because it was the wrong one.

TV Free Challenge

Today is Sunday and I am picking up the girls from their father's in about 10 minutes. UnFortunately for them they do not know that I am testing a tv free week this week. No television until next Sunday. I have allowed myself some leeway. They can watch movies and I may give them an allocated amount of time to watch some of their favorite shows/cartoons on the computer. We'll see.

I watch very little television. I subscribe to one show...Lost...which I can watch on the computer with less commercials or get the DVD's. Other than that, the big tube is off. The girls watch more than I do which is still not very much. So spending $54 a month seems like a waste for a babysitter that markets to my kids constantly.

Let's see how it goes.
